April 7, 2003 - Las Vegas, Nevada - DVB-ASI is fast
becoming one of the most popular formats in the backbone of
Digital Broadcast Distribution Networks of the Broadcast Industry.
This format is gaining acceptance worldwide since it allows
for the multiplexing of multiple MPEG streams or channels
into a single serial bit stream. Several customers have asked
us to create a product that allows them to time delay a DVB-ASI
feed via a single-purpose automation platform.
The CMI DVB-ASI TimeShifter allows all multiple
channels to be delayed or time shifted by a set amount of
time. Additional features include; broadcast-quality, 24x7
operation, simultaneous capture and playback of MPEG-T.S.,
programmable time delay of playback, playback rate of 60MBits
with standard HD, 100 MByte HD, 10/100 BT. Interface, DVB-ASI
Input and output, 188 Byte Packets, an user friendly interface,
and the ability to import or export the time shift via 100
