Real time, 1 RU, quick starting, embedded Linux® based, remotely manageable, auto detection of SD or HD (HDMI), H.264/AVC Encoder and Multi Stream Transcoder relying on a Blackmagic HDMI input card, Gig/E output, and a "minimal" Linux® kernel (residing in a flash memory device) that is Highly Ruggedized and Task Optimized, coupled to a friendly GUI that can be run from anywhere.
The MultiStreamer HDMI/IP™ runs on a non proprietary Asus® high performance motherboard with an advanced Intel Multicore Xeon 4 Core processor. Multiple IP Transport Streams can be provided with most any industry standard "protocols" like UDP, RTP, or IGMP and “Wrappers” such as HLS, RTMP, RTSP, etc. Audio support is for AAC, AC-3 pass through, or Ogg Vorbis.
We encode the primary stream to HD, SD, or sub SD resolutions at .1 to 15 Mbps at most any GOP size, frame rate, refresh rate, or aspect ratio. As mentioned we can simultaneously create several proxy (replicated at different resolutions, etc.) streams to hand off appropriately scaled streams to your content delivery networks (CDNs) with required authentication, for "One to Many" distribution. Continually tested with latest Adobe® and Wowza® servers, and many CDNs.
