This IM Modules is a US homologated T1 Rate CSU for Integration with our Wan Master Serial Communication Cards. By adding two of these modules onto Wan Master you gain 2 ready to go WAN PCI ports with on board CSU functions. This module is also used by some OEMS as an add on to their cards. We are happy to provide full manufacturing assistance for anyone wanting to OEM or license this design.

This IM Module provide a physical interface between the WAN Master card and high speed routers or other similar data devices such as fractional DS3's. A HSSI electrical interface is necessary so the WAN Master can operate at speeds up to 20M Bits/sec on one channel. Other electrical interfaces such as RS-422 are limited to a maximum rate of 15M Bits/sec. More detailed specifications for IM-HSSI are provided.
