that demodulates and routes selected transport streams to any MAC
address via IP. The desired streams are streamed in real time using
UDP or RTP via IP multicast or unicast streams to IP based set top
boxes (STB's) such as Amino or to PC's equipped with Multimedia
Viewers that support IP (VLC). This architecture requires dedicated
bandwidth and is ideal for hotels, convention centers, and corporate
backbones where bandwidth is used for this purpose.
