QAM - QAM and DVB-C to IP Gateways

Single or Multichannel Professional Linux® Based Analog or Digital Clear QAM (U.S.) to IP Gateway that Integrates Our PC Bus Based QAM RF Receivers and Demodulates and Routes Selected Transport Streams to Any MAC Address via IP – UDP, RTP, HTTP, HTTP Live, or FTP. Can Work as a Low Cost “Catcher” in Small VOD Implementations. Typically the Desired Streams are Streamed in Real Time Using UDP, RTP, RTSP, RTMP, Adaptive, or HTTP via IP multicast or unicast streams to IP based set top boxes (STB's) such as Amino™, or to PC's equipped with Multimedia Viewers that support IP (VLC). This architecture requires dedicated bandwidth and is ideal for hotels, convention centers, and corporate backbones where bandwidth is used for this purpose. It is not guaranteed to work over the public internet. Performance depends on available bandwidth.

Real Time, 1 RU, Quick Starting, Embedded Linux® Based, Remotely Manageable, H.264/AVC Transcoder, Encoder and Live Multi-Streamer with Analog or Digital Clear QAM Input and/or IP Input and Concurrent Multi Stream, Multi Resolution, Multiprotocol IP Output. Encodes Uncompressed Analog or Digital QAM Video and Audio into a Compressed IP Transport Stream with Various “Wrappers”. Audio Support for AAC or Ogg Vorbis. Encodes at .1 to 15 Mbps. Ideal Encoder for Streaming Video to Remote Sites, Content Delivery Networks (CDNs), or IPTV Compatible Appliances or Players. Ships with HLS Streaming Enabled.
