A newly developed field deployable, low cost, QAM cable network performance probe with IP connectivity for attended or unattended monitoring of both key RF and MPEG-2 TS parameters at remote locations. Designed to be deployed at multiple strategic locations in the subscriber loop to provide real time overview of the global network health to a remote operation center and will log the important events for unattended operations. The key value proposition is that it saves the "roll of a truck" before customers are noticing major degradations. Comes with a suite of tests and others can be added on request.

Single or Multichannel Professional Linux® Based Analog or Digital Clear QAM (U.S.) to IP Gateway that Integrates Our PC Bus Based QAM RF Receivers and Demodulates and Routes Selected Transport Streams to Any MAC Address via IP. Optionally Transcodes into H.264 any Selected Transport Stream Program(s) to Any Address Via UDP, RTP, or HTTP. Can Work as a Low Cost “Catcher” in Small VOD Implementations. The desired streams are streamed in real time using UDP or RTP via IP multicast or unicast streams to IP based set top boxes (STB's) such as Amino or to PC's equipped with Multimedia Viewers that support IP (VLC). This architecture requires dedicated bandwidth and is ideal for hotels, convention centers, and corporate backbones where bandwidth is used for this purpose.
