A Professional Grade, Real Time, MIP inserter of Megaframe Packets into transports streams compliant with the TS 101 191 standard. The NN6-MIP is crucial building block in the implementation of a SFN network for DVB-T and DVB-H transmissions. The Megaframe Initialization Packet information inserted into the transport stream by the NN6 MIP Inserter is typically used to control the many transmitter sites in a Multi Frequency Networks (MFN) -(mode control by MIP in MFN mode requires that the modulator supports this function). The MIP INSERTER must be installed at the headend of the network at a point before the transport stream is distributed to the individual transmitter sites. Supports hierarchical mode: one NN6-MIP product is capable of modifying two streams simultaneously, saving the price of a second MIP inserter.
