Professional Multichannel Linux® Based DVB-T to IP Gateway that Integrates PC Bus Based Terrestrial DVB-T RF Receivers and Demodulates and Routes Selected Transport Streams or a Whole Transponder to Any MAC Address via IP. Optionally Transcodes into H.264 any Selected Transport Stream Program(s) to Any Address Via UDP, RTP, or HTTP. Can Work as a Low Cost "Catcher" in Small VOD Implementations. Typically the desired streams are streamed in real time using UDP or RTP via IP multicast or unicast streams to IP set top boxes (STB's) such as Amino, or designated VLC or MPlayer equipped PC clients for viewing. This content server architecture assumes you have proper IP provisioning and this type of system is typically deployed in "closed" systems such as hotels, convention centers, and corporate backbones where bandwidth is dedicated and is used for this purpose only.

Professional grade, Linux based, rackmounted, DVB-T to ASI gateway that integrates PC bus based terrestrial DVB-T RF receivers and demodulates and routes selected transport streams to on board DVB ASI port. Typically the desired streams are streamed in real time using DVB ASI to a separate ingest server or MPEG decoder. Typically deployed in front of signal aggregation servers and decoders.

Professional grade, Linux based, rackmounted, DVB-T gateway that integrates a PC bus based terrestrial DVB-T RF receiver and demodulates and routes selected transport streams to the on board Frequency Agile DVB-C modulator. The desired stream then is streamed in real time to a DVB-C based receiver or set top box for in-house cable-based distribution.

Standard Features:

  • Multiplexes transport streams into IP packets
  • Simultaneously receives either one, two, three or four DVB-T transport streams
  • Supports MPEG-2, H.264, SD and HD input and output, in SD and HD format
  • PID filtering
  • DVB-T – terrestrial digital – input
  • IP Output – UDP, RTP or HTTP
  • 200 Mbps IP raw output capability
  • Optional 12 Mbps IP transcoded H.264 output capability
  • Transmits PAT, PMT, and PCR information
  • Receives and transmits at the same time
  • Remote configuration management via Web Browser and Secure Shell (SSH)
  • De-encapsulates data streams
  • Supports NTSC or PAL
  • Based on embedded Linux®
  • Designed to work with UK, Germany, France, and Australian DVB-T

Note: This system is typically deployed in "closed" systems where bandwidth is dedicated and is used for this purpose only. It is not designed to work over the public internet.

Applications:

  • IPTV Unicasting or Multicasting
  • Telco TV
  • ENG (Electronic News Gathering) – Stream content to and from remote locations
  • Streaming to designated VideoLAN VLC, Mplayer, or Windows Media Player clients, or to Amino™ or other set-top boxes
  •  Internet transmission of movie or video “dailies”

Onramp/IP™ connector

  • Separate (up to 4) DVB ASI outputs for each stream
  • 200 Mbps IP raw output capability
  • Optional transcoded H.264 output capability
  • Transmits PAT, PMT, and PCR information
  • Receives and transmits at the same time
  • Remote configuration management via Web Browser and Secure Shell (SSH)
