Professional Grade Linux Based Transport Stream Multiplexer / Remultiplexer for Combining 2-4 Single or Multiprogram Transport Streams. Supports 4 DVB ASI inputs and either ASI or SMPTE 310M output. Also serves as a static PSIP Table Inserter when configured with a SMPTE 310M output or SI table inserter when configured with ASI output. Can be configured to reconfigure SI or PSIP tables in real time. Now able to mux one stored stream on HD in addition to 4 live streams resulting in 5 streams being muxed.

Table Function
MGT(Master Guide Table) Describes the PSIP tables present
TVCT(Terrestrial Virtual Channel Table) Lists the virtual channels being sent
STT(System Time Table) Conveys the current UTC time
EIT(Event Information Table)

Provides basic "EPG" information, including start time, title, and length, The EIT also includes:
- AC-3 Audio Descriptor

- Caption service descriptor

- content ID descriptor

- Redistribution control descriptor

RRT(Rating Region Table) Conveys information on the content advisory rating system in use. (Not required in some areas)
ETT(Extended Text Table) Provides extended description of PSIP events, i.e. storyline, performers, etc.
Other PSIP Tables of Interest
DCCT(Directed Channel Change Table) Instructs receivers to change from a given channel to another over a given time period. This change may be unconditional or based on geographic, demographic, or other selection criteria.
DCCSCT (Directed Channel Change Selection Code Table )(Optional) Provides updates to genre, state, and country codes.
