Extension of
Sync API with "high level" calls to Parse, Examine, and
Modify the entries in the major tables found in the ATSC PSIP table
structure in real time using our ATSC Master I/O cards
Standard Features:
- 28 separate library calls or "operators" to "massage
" PSIP tables
- High speed operators read and write contents of tables and modify
them at over 100 Mbps/Sec
- Operators can replace Null PIDS with program PIDS
- Uses Call Back model to get the data in and out
Two types of calls:
- Display tables structure of major table classes
- Modify the designated table in a particular way and rewrite
the new table
Applications:
- Remap of Channel Lineups
- Insert and extract secondary data in any Table
- Create Program Guides that operate in Real Time
- Creation of ATSC TS Multiplexers by providing basic table manipulation
functions
