Load balancing is important when implementing larger VOD systems in telcos, stadiums and schools. In large implementations there are many VOD servers. Each pull has to be found quickly. If the most local server is IO bound/busy then the request is made to another non busy server. Our SERVPRO II is designed to provide clean load balancing between several VOD servers. |
